MINUTES OF THE FRISKNEY ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD AT FRISKNEY VILLAGE HALL ON WEDNESDAY 19TH MAY 2021 AT 6.45PM

68. APOLOGIES
Cllr S Holt and Cllr D Reeves.
69. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Cllr Hill and Cllr Smith were the only candidates with both standing for their existing roles. The Clerk confirmed all attendees had voted and all votes received were unanimous in support of Cllr Hill continuing as Chairperson and Cllr Smith as Vice Chairperson.
70. SIGNING ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE OF CHAIRPERSON
Cllr Hill and Cllr Smith both accepted office and signed the Declaration of Office as witnessed by Cllr Holland and Cllr Wood respectively.
71. COMMITTEE REVIEW
Cllr Wood asked to be added to the Allotments Committee. All other councillors are happy with their respective committee membership. Action – Clerk to amend for adoption at the next meeting.
72. STANDING ORDERS REVIEW
The Clerk had prepared an amendment to the Standing Orders to allow the summons and meeting paperwork to be emailed to all councillors, still giving three clear days’ notice. Hard copies would be printed by the Clerk for distribution at the meeting. Cllr Smith also asked for a further amendment to add the Cemetery/Churchyard and Allotments to the standing Agenda. All changes were approved unanimously having been proposed and seconded by Cllr Patrick and Cllr Simpson respectively. Action – Clerk to amend for adoption at the next meeting.
73. There being no other business the meeting closed at 6.55pm.
