MINUTES OF THE FRISKNEY ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD AT FRISKNEY VILLAGE HALL ON WEDNESDAY 20TH MAY 2026 AT 6.45PM

APCM26002 - ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Cllr Smith and Cllr Hill were the only candidates with both standing for their existing roles.  The Clerk confirmed all attendees had voted and a unanimous vote was received in support of Cllr Smith remaining as Chair and Cllr Hill remaining as Vice Chair.

APCM26003 - SIGNING ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE
Cllr Smith and Cllr Hill both accepted office and signed the Declaration of Office.

APCM26004 – APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies were received and accepted from Cllr Downing.

APCM26005 - COMMITTEE STRUCTURE & POLICY REVIEW
Cllr Holland requested the Play Area & Ponds Committee be amended to the Play Area Committee as the Parish Council have no responsibility for any ponds in the village.  This was resolved to be changed having been proposed by Cllr Twigg and seconded by Cllr Wood.  Action – Clerk to update and bring to the next Parish Council meeting for adoption.

APCM26006 - There being no other business the meeting closed at 6.50pm.
